Sweet Marjoram is one of the most traditional Mediterranean herbs grown for its culinary and medicinal values. It’s delicate sweet flavor and subtle pungent taste is comparatively gentler than Oregano.
One of our favorite herbs in our garden. Makes a beautiful ground cover or edging and is fantastic in pots. Its leaves can be harvested soon after the flowering buds begin to appear. To dry, hang harvested stems in a dark, dry room for about 7-10 days, then strip leaves from the stems and store inside an airtight container.
