‘Fang’ is a tall variety of Kalanchoe with velvety silver leaves. The margins and underside of each leaf are covered in small tubercles, or “fangs.” The edges of each leaf are bronze. If grown outdoors, ‘Fang’ has red-orange blossoms in the Spring. A very easy house plant. Very unusual and one for the collector!
Kalanchoes need ample sunlight, great drainage, and infrequent water to prevent rot. Pick containers with drainage holes and use a well draining cactus/succulent soil. Water deeply enough for water to run out the drainage hole, then wait for the soil to fully dry before watering again.
