Sansevieria trifasciata ‘Laurentii’ (Striped Mother-in-law’s Tongue)
Sanseveria has been touted as the toughest house plant one can own. You just can’t kill it! (As long as you don’t water it to death).
Sold fully rooted in 4” nursery pot.
Laurentii’s strong thick leaves have beautiful bright golden edges. Snake plants aka Mother-In-Laws Tongue are one of our favorite choices for houseplants. They’re a very adaptable succulent and low maintenance, plus they look fantastic! This varieties golden leaf edges make it a bright addition to an indoor space.
Thick, succulent foliage prefers indirect medium to low light. Allow to dry between watering. Plants benefit from periodically wiping down the leaves.
It is healthy, but the shipping took a toll on it. The tip is bent and the edges look like it has been handle roughly. There were lots of roots, and I had to split the plant. I did have to replant anyways because the soil was standard and not a cactus mix.
There are basically two sanseverias stuffed in the 4' pot, to the point that it feels almost explosive! Only wish the soil is more of a draining mix, instead of the regular potting soil which was a tad over-moist when arrived. However it won't be a problem after I repot them. Otherwise she seems happy and healthy. In Love.
