Monstera adansonii ‘Swiss Cheese Vine’
By now you’re probably well acquainted with Monstera deliciosa- that gigantic, sculptural houseplant that currently appears in roughly 75 percent of all design bloggers’ Instagram posts. But have you met its cousin, Monstera adansonii? Because we’d really like to introduce you! This hard to find beauty makes an adorable house plant and is a conversation piece for sure.
Monsteras are often called Swiss cheese plants for their leaves’ lacy holes and notches, and adansonii is arguably the cheesiest of them all. Its leaves are more perforated and delicate than deliciosa‘s and the plant is petite in comparison. And though all Monsteras are considered vines, adansonii has a trailing quality that makes it a good pick for hanging baskets or training around a room.
I was so happy to get my plants. They came in 4 days and were perfectly healthy.
Beautiful plant and packed with tlc.
A quick google search for the harder to find Monstera Adansonii brought me to the Full Bloom Nursery site. After browsing the indoor plants, I quickly dove in and purchased a few plants that were on my wishlist.
Upon arrival, I excitedly unboxed my new babies and found 3/3 plants were carefully wrapped and in perfect, healthy condition. I would definitely order from this online nursery again!
