Maiden Grass 'Adagio'
- Ornamental grasses give so much and ask for so very little in return. They gracefully sway in the breeze, hold soil in place and prevent erosion on slopes, don't require regular watering or fertilizing, provide winter interest and deer don't like them! Adagio is a versatile dwarf Maiden Grass for full sun. The soft blades add a nice contrasting texture in flowerbeds with narrow fronds that have a graceful weeping effect. The slightest breeze causes the blades and seed heads to sway in the wind. Seed heads form in late summer. Combine with perennials and blooming shrubs for a nice effect.
- Tough, hardy and easy to grow in full sun and average soil. No supplemental watering needed once established.
- Leaf blades grow to 3-4 ft high with seed heads reaching 5 ft. Cut down in late winter.
