Catmint 'Walker's Low' (Nepata x faassenii 'Walker's Low')
Not a true mint, but a terrific perennial that blooms all summer and into fall with violet blue flowers on long graceful stems held above finely textured gray-green foliage. This tough plant survives and even thrives in difficult locations that are hot and dry. The long bloom season provides color with little to no care or fuss. Looks wonderful with roses. Fragrant leaves repel deer!
Full sun and well-drained soil.
2 ft high by 2-3 ft wide. Cut back in winter, blooms on new wood.
