- An easy to grow perennial with fern-like foliage and a long bloom time. Flowers are bright red with yellow centers that gradually change color as they mature and are on stalks 18 to 24 inches tall. You can prolong flowering by cutting back the plants after the first flowering flush in early summer. The flowers are good for cutting & drying and are attractive to butterflies. Fragrant foliage is deer-proof.
- Likes a hot, dry spot in full sun and well-drained soil. No supplemental water needed once established.
- Clumps grow to 24-30 inches tall. Dormant in winter.
