Use: A tough and hardy evergreen ground cover for shade! Thrives in “dry shade” of tree roots with little care. Vivid pink flowers in late spring stand out against the bright gold foliage. Won’t climb or smother other plants like ivy does. Beautiful on shady slopes or as filler under trees. Really brightens up shady spots and is an excellent filler in flower pots. Deer hate it!
Exposure/Soil: Full shade to part sun, not fussy about soil but dislikes sticky wet clay.
Growth: 6” high, spreads to 24” wide. Evergreen.
